BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Cesar L. Alvarez

Has been a director since 1997. Mr. Alvarez has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, P.A. since 1997. Prior to that time, Mr. Alvarez practiced law at Greenberg Traurig, P.A. for over 20 years. Mr. Alvarez also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc.

Denise Dickins

Has been a director since 2007. Dr. Dickins has been an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Auditing for East Carolina University since 2006. She was also an instructor of various accounting courses at Florida Atlantic University from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, she was with Arthur Andersen LLP where she served in different capacities from 1983 to 2002, including Partner in Charge of the South Florida Audit Division. Dr. Dickins is a certified public accountant. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of TradeStation Group, Inc.

Steven R. Fedrizzi

Has been a director since 2010. Mr. Fedrizzi, 56, is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of the U.S. Green Building Council, the world leader in sustainable building design and construction. The USGBC’s LEED certified building designations are the benchmark for energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Mr. Fedrizzi has served the USGBC as President and Chief Executive Officer since April 2004. Prior to founding the USGBC, Mr. Fedrizzi had a distinguished 25 year career at United Technologies Corporation, where he served as an in-house environmental consultant and in various marketing positions.

Barry S. Logan

Is Senior Vice President & Secretary of the Company. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Logan served as Vice President of Finance & CFO of the Company and from 1992 to 1997 served in various capacities including Corporate Controller & Treasurer. Mr. Logan is a certified public accountant.

Paul F. Manley

Has been a director since 1984. Mr. Manley has been retired since serving as Executive Director of the law firm of Holland & Knight from 1987 to 1991. From 1982 to 1987, Mr. Manley served as Vice President of Planning at Sensormatic Electronics Corporation. Prior to 1982, Mr. Manley served as the Managing Partner of the Miami office of Arthur Young & Company.

Bob L. Moss

Has been a director since 1992. Mr. Moss is President of Moss & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in construction management and development. Mr. Moss previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Centex Construction Group from 2000 to 2002, the largest domestic general building contractor in the nation. From 1986 to December 1999, Mr. Moss served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Centex-Rooney Construction Company, Inc., one of Florida’s largest contracting organizations.

Aaron (A.J.) Nahmad

Joined the Company as Director of Global Business Development in 2005 and became Vice President of Strategy & Innovation in 2010.  Mr. Nahmad holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Albert H. Nahmad

Is a dynamic leader who has taken Watsco from an HVAC manufacturing facility to the nation’s largest HVAC distributor. He has served as Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of the Company since December 1973. He holds an M.S. in Industrial Administration from Purdue University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Mr. Nahmad maintains an active role in a number of charitable organizations in South Florida

George P. Sape

Has been a director since 2003. Mr. Sape has been the Managing Partner of Epstein Becker and Green, P.C., a New York-based law firm, since 1986. Mr. Sape previously served as Vice President and General Counsel for Organizations Resources Counselors, Inc., a consulting services provider to a number of Fortune 500 companies and has served as counsel or as an advisor to various congressional committees related to labor, education and public welfare. Mr. Sape also serves on the Board of the University of Colorado School of Business
